TRA is a South African a vocalist, songwriter and beat maker based in Zürich. Occasionally making music for film and theatre, TRA is also part of the band ‘Black Pitch’.
When asked what kind of music she makes, she responds, “good question!” Her music is a reflection of the many places and spaces she inhabits literally and figuratively.
When not performing and making music, TRA is a DJ playing under her alias, youngseptember playing contemporary and experimental music from Africa and the Diaspora.
